I thought about being a pilot, or an air traffic controller, but it was the ever-changing nature and challenges of the engineering profession that drew me in.

I spent my time off working in various coffee shops and going on ski holidays until I finally rediscovered my passion for aviation and returned to uni.

You can't just bolt anything to a plane.  As an Aerospace engineer, you need to ensure that what you design conforms to the relevant regulations and safety standards.
