Summer Internship Program

Our paid, 12-week program, which starts in November this year, has been specifically designed to give you hands-on work experience as well as immersive development and learning opportunities.
It also feeds into our Telstra Graduate Program, which means if you're one of our top performers you'll be considered for early offers.

What you'll be doing as a Product and Service Design intern

You'll be able to see how our teams develop a superior user experience, which is anchored by a human-centred design approach. You'll also get an insight into how we do research, and user testing, develop segment personas and prototypes and test them with our customers.  

What skills and experiences do you need?

We're looking for students who are currently studying a degree in Business Commerce (Marketing), Innovation and Design, Design Computing, Design or Psychology (HCD or design thinking).

We're also looking for people who are curious about technology, have an entrepreneurial spirit, are an innovator, problem solvers and critical thinkers.

Program eligibility

Our Summer Internship Program is open to university students who are in the penultimate year of their studies of a minimum three-year undergraduate degree from an Australian university or those undertaking their master's degree. So, you will need to be graduating in 2023 to be eligible.

International Students who have a valid visa that enables them to work in Australia without any work restrictions are eligible to apply to our technical pathways.
