Please comment on your role and day-to-day responsibilities.
My day-to-day activities vary - which is one of the perks! You are continually learning and mastering new skills and being exposed to a plethora of different work.

Generally - my role is to complete disparate tasks that support the progress of larger matters. This may involve reviewing transaction documents or researching certain legal issues which will assist the supervising solicitor in progressing the matter. Previously, I also had day to day carriage and responsibility for smaller and minor matters which also included directly liaising with clients to prepare legal submissions.
Graduate, Brisbane
Researching points of law and presenting research in memo either for internal or external audience, drafting letters to clients, emailing clients, attending meetings with clients.

My role a graduate means I am one of the most junior members of the firm. As such, I am often given tasks that may require a lot of time to complete or are simple and easy for a less-experienced person to do. My day-to-day often consists of compiling bundles of documents to be provided to counsel or experts, or drafting the documents needed in order to brief the same counsel or experts. I also do a lot of document review in preparation for discovery or trial.

I work as a Graduate in the Litigation and Regulatory practice group. We have a number of matters on the go at the same time, so my role is to assist the solicitors with their preparation for trial. This involves preparing documents, contacting, and briefing experts, briefing counsel, and conducting lots of document review! I find my day changes constantly which can be exciting because it keeps you on your toes but also at times challenging.
Graduate, Brisbane
As a junior, I'm given a great amount of autonomy to deliver advice and other pieces of work in ways I think are most effective. I'm given a good amount of responsibility, as well as the right amount of oversight and guidance from more senior members of my team, which allows me to develop my personal skills and experience in a constructive team environment.
Graduate, Brisbane
I am currently involved on franchising and due diligence matters, helping compile disclosure documents and ensuring that documents are properly reviewed with due care.
Graduate, Melbourne
My day-to-day responsibilities include managing a small to medium case load, drafting court documents and correspondence, corresponding via email and on the phone with clients, insurers and opposing solicitors.
Graduate, Sydney
Preparing file-notes; attending meetings; turning mark-up comments.

My day-to-day responsibilities vary greatly which keeps my role fresh and interesting. There are opportunities to take on more responsibility and challenge yourself too.
