How flexible is your company when it comes to hours?
Working hours are usually 9-5 in the week that is not busy. Can be extended hours to 6.30/ 7 pm if the program is tight, i.e., mid-late phase in tender design, detailed design. Very flexible in terms of choosing working from home or in the office and the start time, easy to take leaves for reasonable causes.

Very flexible. I usually work the standard 9-5, but my team is very flexible with working hours.

38 hours per week officially, in reality more like 43 during busy periods. However this is typical across the industry. I have heard from other friends that it is worse at many other companies.

They encourage to shutdown my computer after the working hours. If I work more than I should, they allow me take a leave a day or two, depends on the project.

Our Ways of Working policy allows each employee to discover the right balance of working remotely and working in the office for them. Flexibility is the policy, it just requires open communication with your line manager/team. The priority is meeting project requirements, however, where-ever and whenever that happens.

An average week is 38 hours. However how you work those hours is up to you and your manager. I like to start early so I can start early in the morning and finish early afternoon. I can also choose to split my workday if required.

Very flexible however we have a lot of work and it's not uncommon to work more than our normal hours for the week

Quite flexible. I am able to take time out during the day to attend to other commitments as long as I make up the hours.

Flexible about when/where you can work, but do sometimes work a lot of unpaid overtime

The company has a very flexible work schedule, as long as you complete your designated 38 hours a week and complete all your deliverables on time then you can work whatever work hours that you want. I work an extra 1 hour each week so that I can have every secondary Friday off, which the company allows. However, as mentioned previously I do not like that the expectation that there is a requirement/expectation to work unpaid overtime hours on a regular basis (5-10 hours more per week than salaried).
